everybody knows the sad story about princess diana of wales death in the 90's. all those who mourned her were mourning as great and influential women. everyone knew that diana was a great women but the thing that they did not know was her relationship with the queen of england, her mother in law. the relationship between the two was perhaps one filled with jealousy. in the 2006 film "the queen" the relationship is well layed out. the moviw which i viewed recently had a complicated plot as you will see in the summary.
diana was married to prince charles and then later divorced. the queen talks about the fact that the royal family did not want to honor diana because she was not a royal any more. my question for you is do you think the royal family needed to honor her or do you think that only those who are royals at the time of their death should be honored?
